Hi everyone, my first post on my BB. I have been with Rain Mobile for the last few months, until recently I bought myself a MiFi router- TP Link M7310 as I have an iPhone (single sim) and wanted data on the go type thing.
I did my homework before I purchased the router which on its website states that’s its LTE-A compatable and best is that is uses the 1800mhz (B3) and 2600mhz (B38) frequency that Rain uses, so I was hoping for carrier aggretion and achieve LTE-A. My issues is that even when I have full signal my router is only picking up LTE and not LTE-A. I’m confused as to why? The TP link MiFi app also states that the device register the signal as either 4G/4G+. The confusing part is that the device is listed as a CAT 4, from what I have read, LTE-A is a CAT 6 and upwards. Could someone please possibly shed some light as why my router isn’t picking up LTE-A. Thanks in advance
