tRon Please tell us where the SIP settings are in the b618
I think it might work with an existing soft-phone only, didnt see any settings on the router to allow SIP access
Yip, there's no VOIP settings, dunno what the phone plug is for.

You can plug in a normal phone and make calls if the sim allow for calls.
The rain sim card does not allow for calls.

Sip settings on my yealink connected to the router using rain LTE.
OK. I also don't have a problem connecting to a VOIP phone or adapter or softphone using a third party VOIP provider like Freshphone. I thought the modem itself had SIP function because of the phone plug but it seems that it is rather to make it into a voice cellphone providing the sim card allows this. The Rain card doesn't.
It looks like the Router version we have in SA removed the VOIP settings
Yup, firmware flashed to the Rain B618 has had the voip menu has been disabled...

Has anyone managed to get and Flash a international firmware version on this device
I have flashed a couple; currently my router is "stuck" in arabic![]()
I'm slowly hacking away at a "custom firmware", will happily share if/when its up and running
Haha yeah I'm stuck with Play Internet Poland firmware on one of my B618 but failed to get a firmware that has the VOIP option enabled.
