RAIN LTE-A: Speedtests

No matter where I put my router , this is the result. But for the first few months my Rain spped was 15 to 35 MB. And the Rain started to throttle the hell out me. But good mad that I am i pay them R250 a month. Poor people in need, you know...
 
When I first got the Rain Fixed wireless (through Afrihost), I was typically getting 25 - 30 Mbps. Then they added the "Peak 6pm to 11pm" and added 25 Gb to that. Then things started getting slower and I was lucky to get 15. I then got the sim only unlimited package which I used in my Vodafone pocket router. Initially I was getting 10-15 and I was comfortable with that (unlimited did not include their peak), but that was taken care of by my fixed wireless package.
Since they have rolled out 5G, the speeds on both (LTE) packages average from dialup 64k modem speeds to 4mbps.
When I go 5G, it will definitely NOT be with Rain.
 
I connected to my phone hotspot (FNB Connect - uses CellC) and this is what I got. But it is VERY expensive.

I've always had great speed's with Rain 5G unlimited, even when we had loadshedding in the past. So glad I finally got fibre, burned the **** out of that Rain simcard. For those of you who still aren't able to get fibre I feel your pain but your time will come.
 
Anybody using Rain in the Fourways/Broadacres area? Are the speeds decent or no good around these parts?

Our fibre provider's upstream provider is turning out to be useless so looking for an alternative.

Your stats is fine. Might be a congested tower.
