Rain LTE not Working?

Mine is running again.

Nvm, only lasted a few minutes, it's dead again. And now no reception as well. And Telkom seem to also be on a go slow tonight. Wth is going on with the networks.

Same here, was stable for a few hours but since midnight its been off/on like a yo-yo.. they're probably doing "maintenance" now to fix todays screw-up.... not the right time. wait til 4am to do maintenance, not midnight when people who have been offline all day are still awake and trying to catch up....

I'll be canceling my rain Sim before the end of this week. I'm using my Telkom Sim more and more every day as rains speeds are becoming less than useless. First month was good but every since Friday I lose reception every now and then and the speeds are shockingly slow.

My Telkom data was supposed to only be used during rain peak times.

It seems mine hasn't been working since around 2pm today. Cape Town southern suburbs.
I have to rain sim cards, both say the same. Connection failed to the network

Signal round S.Subs is patchy at best...I know.
I live and travel around here daily.

Down again since about half an hour ago.. red light on router....
becoming ridiculous now...

I'm canceling this Sim card this weekend. Fcking rediculous. I've had so many outages since the first of March that I've almost depleted my Telkom data already that was supposed to only be for peak times.

I've had fibre installed in my neighbourhood and have ordered. will be cancelling both Rain and Cell C (which is even worse) as soon as my fibre's in...

Fibre for me maybe only after 1.5 years I am lucky

In October 2018, Farms Edge in Pekalmy, Bergvliet was well within the RAIN coverage area and we could get between 20 and 30 mbps. Since January this has dropped to 3.5 mbps, often less and a 350ms lag

A call to RAIN tells us we are not in the coverage area and today's map shows this

Yet RAIN say they have not stopped using any transmitters and the speeds shown in October must be false, or people were mistaken

Yet 9 residents had RAIN LTE in October and could stream Netflix and DSTV. It still works today, but cuts off and freezes 8 to 10 times in one hour

Both AXXESS and Afrihost say it is out of their hands, but continue to charge the full amount

I get perfect rain reception in Bergvliet. Around 30Mbps. Sweet Valley Rd to be exact.

This is the RAIN map. According to this, there is only a tiny portion of Sweet Valley Road within the coverage area. Is that correct for you?

What I cannot understand that 9 people had perfect reception back in October, but poor today. RAIN and everybody else say the service should not have been ordered, yet at the time they were promoting it
