Rain LTE not Working?

My problem is i ' ve bought a cell c package before 1 st of Jan 2019 up to now no lte internet from afrihost.They blameing cellc but the eara manager of cell c was at my place and his findings is:
Afrihost uses other towers/ severs that is why hundreds of people CANT use afrihost' s cell c sim cards ,DONT work in klerksdorp .Afrihost refuse to refund me .Vox cell c works in klerksdorp. Please help us with this rubbish of afrihost. Thanks

What does any of that have to do with Rain :confused:
 
no service since 5-6 am this morning on both mifi and phone... shows the network when doing a manual search. switched apns still nothing
 
Getting the on and off thing here too. Thought it was just my tower acting up. Same last night.
 
Always same shyte with many of these ISP's on 1st of month...WTF do billing runs have to do with network operability and uptime FFS! :X3:
 
I'm also battling with Rain, both fixed and mobile.

First time it's happened to me though. Nothing on either Rain's website or Afrihost's.
 
Just got an SMS saying "Hi, RAIN is attending to a fault affecting Fixed Wireless services in your area. Please visit our Network Status page for updates - Afrihost."

Edit: I didn't realise Afrihost had such a page. How useful. It is pretty informative actually. Would have been nice if there were a pop-up alert or something when I logged in to the ClientZone.
 
Mine also acted up this morning around 7, had reception but no internet. Seems to be working fine now though.
 
Yeah, it seems that some areas in and around Cape Town were the affected ones. Bellville, Kenilworth, a couple of others.
 
Still red light here too.
Just tried the rain chat. Started in queue position 9. It gets down to my turn and the "consultant" immediately closes the chat.
