I've just noticed on my Dashboard on Rain's site that my unlimited off-peak is only effective from 5 July 2018. Do any of you have the same on your side, or a different date? So that means that for 4 days I won't have unlimited off-peak access and only access during peak if I choose to spend the money?

Not the end of the world, I can still use my ADSL during that period, but eish, I thought it would be active from 1 July already :erm:

I have 2 Rain Mobile profiles. 1 has been deleted and the other one says unlimited days ending @ 29/06

Most probably because everyone had free unlimited data including peak until end of June. I guess your free days then cover the remainder?

My email says:

Thanks for being one of the first to join rain. As you know, we've experienced a few problems due to an overwhelming response to our offer, but we'd like to make it up to you. Your SIM and delivery fee, of R120, will be refunded (within 10 working days) and your data usage for June is on us. This means that you can enjoy free unlimited data in June and your free unlimited data days will only kick in from 1 July.

That's called taking responsibility! Way to go RAIN.

Despite their issues i like how they "rain" work and give value to the client - had this been MTN you would have been greeted with an sms to apologize and an all you can eat buffet of 300MB in compensation.
300MB

The support at Rain is pathetic. Since Saturday I'm trying to resolve some issues with the Dashboard and then not being able to login.

I send several emails over the weekend and early this morning to support but no replies. All I receive it an email with a reference no.

Tried phoning a few times this morning but it takes so long to get someone to chat to. I just disconnect the call.

Since this morning I tried several times to use the Online chat. Every time I'm like 50+ in the queue and when I get to about no 5 it reconnects and I'm right back at 40 or 50+ in the queue. This afternoon I eventually got through and was told they will escalate the problem. I told them on Saturday it was already escalated. The only answer I got is "We will escalate it again":mad:

My experience so far: Ordered last Monday, attempted delivery to completely wrong address on Wednesday - I'm in PE and delivery address was in Boksburg. Changed the address with the courier and took delivery on Friday. Got the SIM activated and working today after a chat with support. Speed seems decent.
