No it means your unlimited data days will only start from 1st of July. That means if you took the sim only deal you have unlimited data until 15 July after which your new package kicks in.

Despite their issues i like how they "rain" work and give value to the client - had this been MTN you would have been greeted with an sms to apologize and an all you can eat buffet of 300MB in compensation.

Yes I have sorry during the day I'm on my Mobile so I don't reply and it got lost in all the pm's

I don't currently use it as my main for gaming but I do mobile games like Vainglory, Mobile Legends and Heroes Evolved and the latency to EU is ~180ms.

From end of this month I will use it more as I will be moving to a new apartment that does not have fibre so then I will test it fully.

Or, if you were like me and MANY others, you would've had your first "early adopter" order cancelled and refunded, then you place a second order and after a week still have no sims. Pi$$ poor and now their Twitter SM team are not even replying to polite requests for update.
 
only game i have tried and enjoy on mobile is pubg as pc/laptop cannot play it - looking to transition to PC games now that data is almost a non issue - will give you a shout though later on once you have settled and tested things more fully.

I really enjoy mobile games actually so yeah. Not a fan of pubg though keen to test Fortnite on mobile when that eventually comes out on Android.

Thanks for being one of the first to join rain. As you know, we've experienced a few problems due to an overwhelming response to our offer, but we'd like to make it up to you. Your SIM and delivery fee, of R120, will be refunded (within 10 working days) and your data usage for June is on us. This means that you can enjoy free unlimited data in June and your free unlimited data days will only kick in from 1 July.

So, I can't load my account data or dashboard data. Go on to chat, where I'm told that the operator doesn't have a problem and I
refrain from a being sarcastic. I then ask if Rain has a page giving network status and am told to go to my dashboard.

Not the most helpful support calls I have had.

Same here. I cannot load my dashboard or account details

Tried resetting my password without any success logging into RAIN dashboard. Thought it was an isolated problem (just me experiencing the problem)....


On a positive note want to say thank you to RAIN for the wonderful refund which will come in handy... Don't mind being guinea pig during trial and error days during the month of June as long as it's free...
