Rain Mobile Feedback Thread

The dashboard isn't loading for me. Is anyone else having the same issue?
 
Yes same issue for me, even the network seems to be having issues as my signal is very intermediate
 
I reckon we were down (mobile LTE) for a good 3 minutes but we are back it seems
 
Does anyone know where I can find the Rain Enchanced Huawei B315 firmware?

Still looking for it, but asking the question here just in case.
 
Facebook not working on Rain... laptop and phone. When switching on Opera's VPN it works.
 
Debit order just went off without a hitch, unlimited off peak option so no surprises as I always watch the dashboard daily to ensure correct option is still turned on.
 
Updated my card details last month and they still tried to debit my old card details yesterday. So when the payment failed yesterday the account was suspended today.

When I wanted to make the payment it forced me to pay last months amount first before I can pay the one that failed yesterday. Not sure why because the payment was made last month so now I had to make 4 payments today... 2 for each of my simcards before they wanted to reactivate my sims....

It's a lottery. My mom is on the fringes of coverage area and she gets 50-90mbps.

A friend who is supposedly is in coverage area gets nothing. She cancelled within 5 days of getting SIM, they still billed her two months later after hours of phone calls.

Their customer service and backend is totally **** -appears they want to emulate Telkom .. just hope I never have to deal with them.
 
Might just take the plunge and order then. Hopefully I cancel seamlessly if I have to.

Put in any other sim and it goes to NAT type 2

Yeah this aspect sucks, no port forward there
 
Anyone else having problems with RAIN since last night re supposed arrears in payment?

Fortunately it's not my primary access online, but it is my elderly mother's, who is now without access to outside world and none the wiser so! :mad:

Highly annoying they can't even get their billing right....nothing right in fact to be honest since day 1.

The billing card/detail I have furnished from day 1 is a card/account I've had for 15+years and last months payment went through fine as expected but now this sh*t with them starts....

If it's not 1 things its another with these halfbakes...
 
If any of you are swapping between Rain Mobile and Cell C fixed LTE at 6 pm here's a little tip. Cell C doesn't care what the apn is. So just power down the router, replace the sim and power up again. Cell C will work with the apn set to "rain". So no need to change your profile. :)
 
Hi i have the Huawei B315s-936 used mainly with Rain 19hr Uncapped sim. Get on average between 5-8Mbps.
Looking at getting the B618 router, which is the best model for the Rain network?
