Rain Mobile Feedback Thread

Tried that, seems the base station is down in our area.
I have the huawei router connected to a nanostation, which auto reboots every 3 minutes until it can ping Google DNS again.

RAIN had DNS issues since before 5PM, so you might have been connected but you cant browse any sites, I changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and all was fine, until 7pm when they went completely down for 20mins, all good now and speeds are awesome.

thanks, helped me mess about with setting only to find my data was off:X3: All is well now
 
Mine is on but its weird because its not supposed to be on. Only have the "Unlimted Data" thing. Hope I don't get charged extra tomorrow
 
International connection is dirt slow but local flies.

If you set a spend limit of R250 and enable the unlimited data option then your data goes OFF at 6... That's why I think it should be off mister. Its been like that for the past 3 months :)
 
The last few days in Durban and Im assuming its because of load shedding .. its been been going down for few hours

Had this Happen last week, would stay on till about 7pm each night
 
So people who are on the R250 unlimited off peak, what do you use during peak hours?

I'm still on the free unlimited data till December 16th...

Would need a peak option to go with the unlimited off peak from the 17th...

How did you get so many free data days?
 
My billing for 01/12 has not been processed yet. When do payment notifcations normally start showing?
