Rain Mobile Feedback Thread

Best thing I ever did is cancel this crap, ran fine for 6 Months then all went for crap!

That's where I'm heading with fixed LTE in general...too many changes and fluidity with consumer onboarding/tower positions and 4g-4g+ capacity/pricing,etc
A few lucky ones stay right next to an unused tower..but many of us are doomed to struggle.

Fibre here I come.

Good riddance drama queen. I, and most here can't get fibre anyway.

I'm quite happy with my "rains", it pours more than my Telkom. Real life saver and fiber ain't a thing where I am right now so LTE ftw

Sad to let you go but not that I have fibre I'm canceling my 2 simcards I got on launch day. :crying:

Yes I well remember you being Uber pleased with your speeds...I, OTOH have never had great speeds, but now it's abysmal...unusable.

Well the more vodacom users join the slower it will get actually.

That's what I believe happened with the recent outage. Put 2 and 2 together...
Some towers ( like the 1 I connect to ) are now permanently..24x7...congested.

CD, before you cancel your Rain SIM's, would you be able to do a test and post your speeds of you bonding your Rain connection to your fibre connection? They'll both have different latencies, so I'd love to see how that would work...
