I agree, I don't think their FUP will allow for 100GB of data if you use it like that monthly. For this pricepoint it would propably closer to the 30 - 40 gig mark, seeing that 55GB@R549 (they will propably email you and say they will throttle you or that you must think of moving to the Higher capped packages if you don't like being throttles to slow-ass-speeds)

They do not have capped packages.

They might say... move to a "Rain Fixed capped package if you want to do 100gig or more"

I personally think they only going to allow maybe 20-30gig on FUP. after that throttle to hell and gone.

found this in regards to their FUP in the comments on their facebook page. Seems like there will be shaping/throttling once they figure it out themselves.

Also looks like the courier company they are using is sendr - http://www.sendr.co.za/
Might be worth giving them a call directly to find out when you will get your sim cards delivered

I don't see them delivering mine between 4 and 5 either, seeing as nobody in this thread confirmed receiving their SIM's yet. If I could get onto their site right now I'd cancel, but they've got their backsides covered it seems :p

Logging into the Rain website to check the status of my order and I notice that my address specified is that of my parents and not my own (thanks a lot Google auto complete ). I did change the address to mine before placing my order but seems like their site didn't accept my change. Oh well, not the end of the world, but will contact their support and see if I can get it changed perhaps. My delivery is for next week Wednesday, so I'm not too worried about it :D

So in other words, if you download more than 50GB, you're done!!!! They should rather just set the FUP openly and not surprise people with "You are abusing the network therefore we are slowing your speed to 128kb for the remainder of the day"
MTN anyone

Yeah, just got the same SMS too.
Guess they didn't think that many people would buy the SIM
