Rain R250 uncapped offer ending 30th June

And how much do you average with regular viewing per month?
I think one has to do close to 100gig monthly to make it worth it.. R2.50 per gig. <normally with windows updates, anti-virus updates, 1 or 2 new games installations and weekly updates, some youtubing, some Netflix, twitch and Cellphone updates/Tablet Updates, some DSTVNow> Normally 100gig is a breeze to do.

Please, please, please offer R5 a gig or huge data bundles of +200GB month to month.

What about those who barely goes over 100GB, Paying twice for what you actually use, wouldn't that be unjust?

My account disagrees, its quite heavy in comparison to 720 etc.
Well i use edge browser and the netflix app which stream native 4k. and every month i am around 300gb. I used to download games but ran out of space and games to download. So all i do now is just stream.

My sim only does like 30-40GB a month. I just care that it's uncapped and decent speeds.

I agree that they should throttle heavy users maybe 500GB+ or something.

throttling does not really help. because people are no longer downloading much rather they are streaming.

Fek man I only get 6 - 7mb , though my signal strength is only 1 bar on my router

Traffic is traffic.

Whether someone is cranking one out to Pornhub or torrenting, the system will see they've gone over the set FUP/AUP and slow them down.

Then they can introduce a more expensive uncapped option without this FUP.

I dont know if I should keep mine or just cancel.

I have basically only been able to use it at home.

Rain doesn't work at Canal Walk, not even a drizzle.

Doesn't work at Grand West either.

Im getting about 10mbps at home. It performs ok on Netflix but seems more delayed.

I have wasted money on mobile data cos I need to use it between 18-23

Getting Fibre again.

Does any1 else find it strange that Mobile prices are decreasing but Fibre is increasing.
Fibre prices were "low" because the infrastructure providers where taking part in a land grab. Now that they have their fibre trenches laid they can jack it up. They pass it on to the ISPs who pass it on to us. Those investors want their ROI, yo.

I suspect everyone on the R250 deal has been hard throttled and they are not letting us know. I can barely get 20kbps. I used it for my family streaming needs during the day so I do not get capped on my other account. I also do not mind to pay but be upfront about what you are offering and stick to it. I have not once gone over 200GB a month with RAIN.
I've noticed that Rain is realllyy sensitive to how far you are away from a tower. Close to it will easily give you 50mbps while being a bit further than 1km away will bring it down to 10mbps
