This company is making excuses for having a terrible customer service culture.

I canceled my service with them because I was not getting the speeds as advertised (not even close). I canceled within the 7day period to get a refund for my first payment. The router was collected yet I’m STILL waiting for my refund with no feedback, only empty and generic promises of a callback.

The lack of feedback and delay in refund is truly frustrating to say the least.

my advice...STAY AWAY from this company. Rather get fibre from Webafrica, my experience with them is certainly MUCH MUCH better in terms of customer service and support.

Agree, pay that Starlink deposit, it's the right thing to do.

As sht as Rain is, you clearly have a screw loose recommending Webafrica in their place. That is like telling people to rather vote EFF than ANC.

Web Africa has worse customer support than Rain :P. Just look throughout this forum...
 
We have two towers in town. One tower went out with the power, and never recovered, this was last week. I have logged a few tickets since then, with the message that they will look into it, but can't say if anyone will even be sent out to sort out this issue for once and all.

And very time they disconnect me from the working tower, and I have to reconnect again, and for some reason their support thinks they just did me the biggest favour.

This is my signal quality after I was able to connect (when the mist lifted):

I'm not even going to try to run a speedtest over this.
