Is there anyone else here who has a rapidshare premium account who is having problems with speeds and problems with resuming downloads. Just want to know if it's a rapidshare problem or an Iburst issue.

Yeah I've been having similar issues... Getting annoying! My download speeds are normal - Im averaging 80 - 120kbs. Just having probs with auto downloads and file resumes.

I think I know what the problem is. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Rapidshare has implemented new functionality that attempts to detect if an account is being used at the same time on different machines. I get this error if I attempt to download a file, cancel it immediately (for whatever reason) and then try again straight away. It seems that my IP address changes between the two attempts. No idea why, but it did. And this is why resuming has gone for a ball of chalk -- for some of us at any rate. Each connection seems to be with a different IP address.

Click through to the Premium Zone on their website, and then click on View Logs. You'll see that there are multiple IP addresses being listed there. This would naturally be the case over the course of multiple days, but I have 10 different IP addresses listed for the 10 different attempts I made to download a file earlier today.

I checked my rapidshare account and you're on to something. These problems only happened once I reached my cap though.
