I have an a Raycore fibre router and I am trying to add a DC UPS to it. I cannot get power to the Fibre router from my UPS. The UPS works well on all my other routers and switches. I use the 12V outlet. Has anyone had a similar experience before?

How many Amps is the output jack on the UPS, and whats the output amps on the raycore AC adapter?

Output jack on the ups is 2A, it looks like the adapter is 1A. That might be the problem. Many thanks.

No, it could be 50 amps, the router wouldnt care.

As long as the UPS isnt under amping it should work, very strange issue.

I would check the measurements of the inner pin gap of the plug. It may be that you have a 5.5mm x 2.5mm plug on your UPS cable and you need a 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug to make contact contact with the inner pin on the CPE.

Did you manage to get the CPE to work with the UPS? Having the same problem. CPE's blue lught is in but no internet. Pins are the same.

Checked, is the same. Many thanks.

Had the same problem with Ratel 860P. ONLY the splitter cable spoke to the CPE, none of the other cables worked.

Anybody manage to solve this? I have the same problem. Had a 2.1mm lead made up and still doesn't work.

The fibre being dead wouldn't cause the ont to lose power

My bad, then the POP has no backup power and he's dead outta luck
