*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

I wouldnt say its crawling on my side, but its definitely sluggish compared to usual.

I think everything is sluggish at moment. WA has been hopeless for weeks, but past two, three days it's impossible. Might as well have dial up. And no-one is admitting fault - all fingers being pointed at Telkom and SAIX.
 
this is crap cant even enjoy my daily dose of xbox live keep on getting DC'ed
 
Disconnections. Getting kicked from Guild Wars for reason of loss connection. On night, works almost perfectly, but at 8am-11pm getting disconnection notice nearly every few seconds. Fixing this normal way (in-game reconnection window) not working, while it always worked. Only way to fix is to disconnect from network (in Windows) and connecting back. It behaves similar when connected either to router or directly. First seen on weekend 9-10 Oct.

Very detailed description:

In-game character stops. Normally, it means connection is gone, because while connected, character can move around in-game field, even there is significant lag. It stops for 1-2 minutes and gives "No connection. Want to fix?" window on time-out basis and offers to reconnect. Pressing reconnect button gives a "Connecting..." window and then after minute, it reverts back with initial "No connection. Want to fix?".

Solving this problem is not nicest, but works. When character freezes, disconnecting LAN or PPPoE connection and connecting back immediately. Coming back to in-game "No connection. Want to fix?" screen, pressing "Fix", reconnects within couple seconds.

Problem in outposts is different. When character freezes, after minute or more, it gives message:
Code=007 "Your connection to the server was lost. Please check your Internet connection."

After this I get kicked to character selection screen. Connecting back will display "Connecting..." and then after minute or so, offers to enter log-in details and gives window "Connecting..." and it freezes.
Logging out and logging in back not helping. Only reconnection, as mentioned in above problem solution.

Anyone else having issues with signal/connection/latency tonight?
 
Aye experiencing insanely high latency in wow. Constant disconnects. Phoned up iburst tech support to check if something is wrong with the network. All is fine according to them.
 
Also getting some pretty bad latency in WoW on Iburst connection 18000ms +, checked my 3g connection and it is working fine there. Also having a big problem opening websites. This all started from yesterday. Im in the Pretoria Wonderboom South region.

Storm today's morning not caused problems much. Disconnection problem continued on since 9am, during night it was like miracle.
 
My connection sucks at the moment. Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and helpdesk no - one is responding.
 
I think it due to the huge storm last night. I was disconnected even on my Wimax :P
 
Ok so is Iburst down or is it just me? Can't connect for last 1/2 hour that I've been trying - not sure before that?
