*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

Sure thing, but this is not an issue that is on my side, also my speeds are through the roof at the moment.

Just a few posts above chan0o is having issues too, and I can play this game perfectly on 3g.

I will PM / email you soon.

(Also when I say iburst on these forums, I am specifically talking about the ISP so please don't feel like all this is directed at you just because you are acting as support on these forums and have the same username as the company you are working for.)

Thanks!

Also having problems playing online game. Especially MMO.

Hi Voodoomon

Could you please email me your contact details and utid number (00126) to [email protected],
so we can assist in getting you to use the iburst for your gaming.

Regards

I've sent you my UTID number. Please help me get back to gaming

I Am also having problems. Admin on game server says that log show that I am losing packets. I can only play late at night. Any other times I just get kicked off all servers. The ping / speed appears normal. It seems to be a packet loss problem.
@bubblesmegabyte I dont think you should be helping single people. I think you should be explaining to ALL of your subscribers that you have a problem and that you will fix it. !!!

OK I have emailed my info to you.

Now that we have a few more people talking about gaming issues here maybe we can get it looked at a bit faster and taken a bit more seriously?

I could ****ing transcribe the packets by hand, drive to the NOC where the server is and reconstruct them at the keyboard faster than this ****ing useless ****ing **** iburst.

Yup, mines doing just fine.

Seem to have figured out part of the PlanetSide2 problem, played for the last 2 hours..

After 12AM it runs perfectly... Anyone remember a post here where someone from iburst said steam was triggering some P2P protocols and making steam very slow during the day?

I'm guessing that PS2 is doing the same thing somewhere along the way.

My complaint is very high ping as shown in speedtests, and high packet loss making Teamspeak unusable

For the last two weeks I keep getting disconnected. Normally lasts about 5 to 10 minutes then I can connect again. Can sometimes last hours though.

Benoni area, anyone have a clue?

I'm having the same problem in Midrand. The speeds are also pathetic...

What's going on iBurst?

It's been more disconnected than online tonight. When it does connection the speeds are terrible. Don't get me started on pings.

Going from bad to worse.

Iburst technical support said it's the modem. Plugged my old 1 meg modem in, get ISDN speeds. Sigh.

I also finding speeds dreadful...... Plumstead, Cape Town
