*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

I've just initiated a power-down on my modem and my system thinking it might be my side. So there does seem to be issues...

Did the same thing; the problem is definitely at their end.
 
Back to this nonsense again today.

experiencing connection problems and when i finally do am strugling to open any web page from thursday 19th sept stayin in the kempton park area any info
 
Experiencing much slower than usual speeds during the midnight to morning period since Sunday. I have perfect signal and have had it for years. Nothing in the geometry of the area has changed, nor has my hardware setup. Only getting between 50-70% of my normal download speeds on multi threaded downloads. Central Bellville, Western Cape.
 
After trying to hook up with ADSL, I've decided Iburst is not so bad after all, not even their service. :love:
 
Are you giving up on ADSL?

Telkom cannot even get the ADSL line activated. What else am I supposed to do? Mobile internet is a no go in terms of speed, except Vodacom. Since Vodacom charge's an arm and leg in terms of the amount of data I spend, rather sticking with Iburst from where things stand at the moment.

Um. Thank you for that initial pretty quick response and request for the kind of info that was expected ..but what was the point in doing so if you're then going to ignore me/fail to follow through? Or is prodding you people in public like this the *only* way to get (one-time) responses per prod? DO please follow through in the morning, as all of us that depend on this being resolved would really like it to be done, thank you.

You mean like I did yesterday afternoon at 15h25, with my cell and office numbers, as well as the relevant customer number? Tell you what, there's a "Forward" button; I used that to send it all. Again.
