*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

The tower in plumstread seems to be offline now. The connection light on my modem is now red:(

All data services in Cape Town critically impacted due to fiber damage at data center infrastructure. Cabling operators attending. ETR: 14:00

Tower in Bellville is also off. 0% signal strength. Connection light red.
No connection whatsoever possible.

Strange thing is I had local internet for awhile, then all of a sudden the tower went down... now it's a "fibre damage" problem

Ditto. It has since come back on at about 15:30, but the connection is unstable. I have had about 2 or 3 disconnects, with one of them lasting about 10-15 minutes.

We are currently experiencing stability issues on new fibre installation in Cape Town and our Network engineers are working on the problem

iburst is useless...... they are having authentication problems again...

also I haven't received a usage report since last month and unhelpful desk cant tell me what my usage is either.

Slow international and iBurst website usage report is not working. Anyone looking into this?

No usage emails here since March 31.

Early this morning the Website usage report working again and the figures are totally messed up.

No Data carried over although I know there was +- 20 GB of data due to be carried over.

I am on Uncapped anytime VAS and Max 25+ and it has deducted a lot of data (+-13GB) from Midnight to Morning Used. That should not happen with Uncapped anytime VAS.

Could iBurst please respond as a matter of urgency?

Am I the only one or is there are problem with our speed in the Western Cape? Since Iburst went offline a few weeks ago for an entire day my speeds have been useless. My ping is good but my download is like 20kb/s and my upload is not that great either. I have even lifted my omni antenna high enough that it might be considered dangerous for lightning :) Any feedback from iburst would be appreciated.

Hi In_Need_Of_sPeeD

Can you please PM me your account details so I can if there is an issue on your account

Now I cannot authenticate after midnight after disconnecting just before midnight. Error 718 (remote computer did not respond in a timely manner) etc.

I am also still awaiting a reply from iBurst on the Uncapped After hours/Anytime VAS issue.
I have e-mailed and PM'd the iBurst rep early yesterday re. that.

According to the sales guys "not that anyone answering their phones can be trusted" iburst has canceled the uncapped anytime VAS and didnt bother informing their clients and yet still bill them for the service.
