Why the strange hidden moderator quote in white colour?

I have investigated the links again and the redundant paths were kicking in during the mentioned time period. I have requested that tests be conducted on the backhauls from that area and will revert with feedback.

The strange moderator quote was put there out of boredom and because I wanted to see if the moderator/s would notice it and remove it.

Just had a look at what is happening on the network and there is higher than normal traffic as multiple vendors have released product updates incl. Microsoft, NAI, Symantec, Sophos, (pick a vendor) etc,

I've been having horrible international connectivity for the last two or three days. I'll try and load a site, and the modem doesn't even seem to respond. It often takes multiple attempts to get stuff to load, although sometimes there's no problem whatsoever.

I did the speedtest about two nights back and got a download speed of 0.77 MB/s. Not too shabby, I guess? Can't remember previous reading, but the night before that my link was given a B rating.

Cape Town links have been updated.

I still think there's something wrong with international speeds in Cape Town, I've just downloaded Thunderbird Setup 3.0.3.exe at an average of 7.1KBps (56.8kbps).

I've just downloaded the same file again, this time at an average of 82.2KBps (657.6kbps). Great improvement, thanks!

It's over 6 months now, surely it doesn't take a rocket scientist to fix a webpage.
