*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

High latency on international and local data traffic will impact all Clients from Thursday 22 April 2010 at 08H00 with estimated resolution on Saturday 24 April 2010 at 18H00. Emergency network maintenance will be undertaken on an international link (SAT3 cable). We apologises for any inconvenience.

What effect will this have on us iBursters?
Will local be unaffected?
Will we still have international connection [be it slow] during this period?
Will bubbles still be pushing the button?!?!

I use OpenDNS exclusively and I'm also getting the same errors, so I'm not sure if you can blame that on iBurst.

I'm getting timeouts and DNS errors on almost all pages, including News24, Rapidshare, Facebook and Wikipedia!?!??!

Investigating as I see wikipedia.org is an issue.

Two nights ago I kept getting disconnected, tonight I'm having probs with sites that include FB (pics not all opening), ditto with MWEB, as well as their remote mail not opening. When I tried to log on at about 5:30 pm, had 100% singal, but no connection to any webpage I could think of, even Skype not working. Advise pse?

I am in Honeydew (just up the road from Welervreden Park) and have also had lots of DNS and Server Reset disconnections for the last two days - help appreciated here too !!

damnit. what the hell is the problem. cant download from megaupload because the page loads except for the picture where you have to enter the 4 digits. also constant disconnects for the past couple of day now. none of my downloads are completeing. they all time out.
