Cannot expect anything good on such connection.

Have another 3 months to go before I get to cancel my subscription once and for all, even 3g is a better option.

I actually got less lag on iburst than telkom 3G, about 100-200ms faster.

This is possibly because of the seacom maintenance.

The line has been so bad recently it would not matter if they gave me a million gb per month bandwidth as I am unable to even use the 5gb I get allocated now.

Iburst is def screwed up. Download speed went down from 31 May @ 110kbs to 2 June @ 30-50kbs...
Seriously not funny.

I seem to be having local-only access at the moment? MyBroadband opens, as does The Prophecy Shop and numerous other South African websites but Google, Facebook, etc are all inaccessible.

Upstream notification

There is currently a fibre break between Sunninghill and Midrand. Some of sites are affected with possible slow responses, higher latency and packet loss.
We are currently working on the fault to get it resolved asap. I will keep you up to date with feedback until resolution.

Yesterday, shortly after 5pm there was a Metroethernet issue which would have caused a brown out. It has been resolved.

Got on wow for a short time but crazy ping and disconnects after 2 seconds. Tried on 2 servers...
Other people aren't experiencing any problems on server so its on iburst's side again.
Retested router and connected multiple times again with no luck.
