*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

Seems to be working fine now. It was irritating though...
 
Internet seems to be crawling today and even downloads. My speedtest shows 127-133 ms to Johannesburg server. Pings ingame are horrible and totally unstable :(

Yeah. Internet is crawling today. Pings in games also very unstable
 
Agree, have extreme troubles accessing yahoo.com today, loads in from 5 mins to never.
 
I see the same cr@p is happening today. Clicking on a page and it just sits there...Connecting.

EDIT: Seems to be working now...

Anyone in pretoria having issues? Iburst has been slow the past 2 days. Decided to reboot router, modem and restart pc but I havent been able to reconnect again for the last few minutes
 
Joburg here. Yeah something going on atm, I cant do anything. Ventrillo pinging at 27k ms and browsing is broken.

I haven't been able to reconnect to the internet since last night. I know that we cancelled our iburst account but shouldn't it be cancelled on the first instead of 2 days early?

If it isn't that they closed my account early then what is going on?

Hi,

I have been getting some DNS errors today on some sites. Notably more on web-application sites with variables passed in URL (e.g. ?name=).

I get a white screen with the message:


DNS Error Temporary network problem, please retry later

Is this the iBurst DNS servers giving this error? Anyone else having this problem?

Not sure if its related but several times yesterday and today I have gotten redirected to an "update details" Iburst page???

Also getting DNS errors... must be problems on transparent proxies or something

Starting to drive me crazy... called the helpdesk and logged it
