Steam downloads were very slow over the night, only got about 200MB when it should have been closer to 2GB

Where are you downloading from? WA?

I've been watching it like a chicken and when I decide to go and hit a bucket it blips. In January we will have four fibres so a problem on one won't be noticed.

Seems that every day with iburst there is a problem. Today the pop3 server is down. doing a ping test to the server, times out.The self care platform is down and unable to manage email account. Please get your act together and resolve all problems SOON....

Yeah, mine is playing up again: can browse most sites it seems, but having that delay again between when you click and the page finally loads.

I bet the CEO doesn't rely solely on iBurst for his home connection - if he uses iBurst at all. Just a thought.

Well now it seems fine, but when I posted that it was pretty much any website I tried to browse. Click link, wait, wait, wait, wait, then page loads.

Westrand

Yesterday the fibre spur to the Westrand was damaged. The area is now on RF backup while the fibre provider attends to the repair.
