*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

my speeds have been relatively average. +/-40Kb/s download during the day and about 80Kb/s at night
 
The speed has been disgusting over the last week, I am getting 1/4 of the usual speed at 100% signal.... WTF

Same here. Signal between 90 and 100 all the time but speeds suck and some websites do not even open.

@r00igev@@r, what's up with the speed?
Any tech info or anything on what is happening?

There are no reported issues or problems.

Local transit is higher than usual. Seems the duvet day has many people at home and on the net.

well my downloading and gaming speeds have been less then adequate the last 2 days now. Any idea when its gonna be fixed?

Kinda sucks seeing everybody tele port all over my TV the whole time
 
Its still horrid today but a little better. BTW, the issue I was having with some websites not loading is still not resolved for 2 months and guess what, I reloaded my PC over the last weekend on the Iburst techs advice saying its not Iburst and guess what, fresh install, 100% signal and still nothing works properly, websites randonly just show as loading and don't. Simple sites like News24 and Mybroadband forums.... Iburst the fault lies with you, this is disgusting and the fact that you guys just ignore the blame and point fingers. Sort it out!!!!
 
I am getting regurlar 1 min timeouts today and its happening often.

The way iBurst works, if there was a problem with news24 or mybb, everyone would be reporting an issue!

+1! And lets not even talk when you try to load more than 1 page at a time.
 
Been having problems connecting to the Twilight Gaming warcraft 3 server lately and it seems that the problem is effecting most iburst users who make use of the server. The server's IP address is 196.38.180.96. Will be great if this can be looked in to.

Problem symptoms are: When connecting, the connection either times our or it takes 30+ seconds to connect where it should take +-3 seconds.

Is this hosted at Internet Solutions? I cannot even do a successful tracert to it?
 
What's up with iBurst in Pretoria East (Moreletapark tower)?

I can no longer connect to that tower (after using the same modem & setup for more than a year now) - antenna light started to flash yellow, now a solid orange.

Call center response is rather vague, to say the least. Perhaps the time has come to move on...
