*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

Anyone else having issues with www.filesonic.com ?

I keep getting this message:

"We have detected some suspicious behaviour coming from your IP address (xxx.x.xxx.xxx) and have been temporarily blocked.
If you feel this is an error, click here to report it to our technical team."

I've been using filesonic for the last 2 months without any issues on a Premium account, I have reported the issue with filesonic. (Still waiting for a solution)

When I use Cell C to log in, I don't have any problems.

Mine is fine, probably they blocked your IP?

Same thing is happening to my brother, different desktop modem, different account.

We get the same message if we are logged in or logged out with our filesonic account.

If I use Cell C it's fine. So they are definitely blocking iBurst.

Having issues connecting to WoW and international sites in Durban today - very 'iffy' connection, with continuous dc's and high latency links. Anyone else having this issue with iBurst?

Experiencing similar in Cape Town. International traffic seems very slow.

long term issue with iBurst sharing IP's

original posts appear to have been join and labled under a more friendly title, original was "iBurst IP blocked as leaching bot". This was said to be scheduled for fixing in January. Safe to assume iBurst uses this connection method because it is cheaper for them and they don't really care.

check out www.whatismyip.com
then go to www.projecthoneypot.com and search your IP there.

Mine is "The Project Honey Pot system has detected behavior from the IP address consistent with that of a spam harvester and comment spammer."

Filesonic will most likely tell you they can't do anything about it and refer you to your ISP, good luck.
-----------------------

Low to zero international capability, Timeouts etc. in Cape Town.

Haven't been receiving data usage emails since the 27th of May and have twice been linked to iBurst's "cap limit reached" site in the last few days when i know for certain that i haven't downloaded 8gb of data since the beginning of June.

Service usually returns a while later.

Same here in the Northen Suburbs (Cape Town). Zero international connectivity. Definitely a problem at iBurst. Not sure if other service providers are experiencing similar conditions.

call centre agent says "Cape Town and Durban are experiencing international issues" Jo'burg is apparently fine for some reason. Doesn't know of expected time of fix.
