*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

Rooi I cant login to WoW tonight, I get disconnected as sooon as I try, any ideas its either something on the network or my router.

Same thing with diablo and starcraft these strange lag spikes of over 800 then back to 200 and while that happens the game freezes for half a second also battle.net servers

I'm in Fourways, and over the past 2 days my connection went from "ok" to crap.. gaming is impossible now..

iBurst connection to Google broken?

GMail is slow.
Google's homepage takes a while to load.
Google+ just completely times out.
Even here, the Google APIs don't want to load.

International just died???

There are two international transits
- telia (configured to transit via WACs on the west coast)
- cogent (configured to trasnit via EASSy on the east coast)

If you do a tracert to an international site you can see the route by looking at what transit is being used.

If there is a failure on a route then the transit swops to the alternative path. Ususally takes about 4 minutes.
 
can some one explain why the slow speeds of late? & if any one else in the area experiencing the same problem.
