Received Ubuntu One invitation

Got my invite yesterday as well and also chose 2 GB

Can't use it since I am not using 9.04 yet.

As people have said already and what I noticed as well, this is exactly what Dropbox is doing which I am using happily for our home side-business.

Going to check out another time if its something drastically different.

What would be cool if its open sourced so you can run this service on your own servers and within your LAN
 
Gave it a spin. Similar to Dropbox but only Ubuntu and online support! As I do not use my dropbox account on anything but Ubuntu not an issue.

It has better integration with your Ubuntu and has more of a push/pull like version control than on the fly syncing. Depending on your needs this could be good or bad.

If your in doubt then stick with Dropbox.
