Receiving Money from Overseas

Hi

So I did some freelance work for someone but they are located overseas. More specifically the UK. So I'd like to know how does Transferwise work regarding receiving money from UK. From my understanding is that I create an account and send those details to the payer. But then how do I get that money into my Bank Account. And how do I make sure this transaction is legal or doesn't infringe on any laws in SA. I don't wanna seem to dodge with receiving money from overseas. The amount is about R5000 so it's not a lot.

You link your south african bank account to Transferwise, and then send it to that once its in the transferwise account.

The first time you send to your SA account, exchange4free (transferwise partner) will contact you to sign a document / decleration for the SARB etc

You could always use PayPal... Even though they could be a pain in the but to get your $ paid into your ZA bank account but it does work.
