Recomend a gaming keyboard

Recommend me a gaming keyboard for under R1000 please.

No specific requirements, looking for something flashy though.

With the exchange rate i highly doubt a grand will do it anymore, you need to go up sadly.

Mouse 1.2k, keyboard 2k now. 1.5k minimum.

I'd recommend the Blackwidow Ultimate. Sadly the price has gone up from R900 to R1900 in the last 2 years :wtf:

I would go with either Roccat or the Cyborg V7 is quite a nice keyboard. Believe I saw one at Inter Computers for R750 a little while back.

Yeah I would prefer the Cyborg but I really can't go over the R1000 mark for it unfortunately. Right now it seems I will be going for the ROCCAT Isku.

It's not for me, it's for someone who wants a flashy keyboard, unfortunately they don't like how the mechanical ones look.

Also the danger of getting them a switch they don't like.

Sadly this shouldn't be your issue dude, you show them they buy. If they don't like it that is their problem. Trying to gage what other people will like isn't going to work.

Don't go fr that 900 one, selling the guy short, pay the extra dollars for mechanical.

It is mechanical? i would not drop a grand on a keyboard that isn't mechanical, it really is awesome. Slight touch activates it. Really amazing actually. You know every press registers almost instantly, be it typing or gaming.

I dig that it sounds like a type writer actually.

It's hard to get a good one under R1000, but SteelSeries has this very cool kb available. Takealot says it ships at end of June only, and I'm sure if you shop around a bit you can get it for cheaper than R1299. But I think that's quite "flashy"
Definitely getting one for myself!

Errm i was just asking if it was mechanical dude. If you are happy with it then awesome i assume by your response it isn't mechanical.
