Redmi Note10S latest OTA update

My wife and daughter both have a Redmi Note 10S on contract with Vodacom. They recently received an OTA update to Android 12 and MIUI 13.

There are quite a few bugs after the update. After much frustrating searching, I have found out that the update is a Vodacom update as evidenced by the version SKLZAVC. I cannot find this version anywhere on the web, but found someone else had a similar problem with a ROM from a Telecoms company in Chile. Their ROM had the letters SKLCLEN, with CL being Chile and EN being their service provider.

The SKLZAVC now makes perfect sense. How do I get rid of this irritating, buggy Vodacom version and install the latest official Global ROM for this phone?

Many people use the EU roms on their Xiaomi phones. There is also a good support forum

They always have some sort of bugs.....

At least we get nice phones for cheap chshskoaowuejndmnxndooenfn....
