[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

can anyone not in SA confirm DSTV is now completely blocked?

If I go to https://now.dstv.com/ I get a completely blank page.
And here: https://connect.dstv.com/registration/signin I get a Cloudfront 403 error

It also seems the x-forwarded-for no longer works.
But using a proxy / dns service does work.

Matt said his EPG generator also won't work now either.
So, we will need to move the EPG generating into the add-on itself.

I'm in SA but quickly started up my nordvpn and chose a UK server. Can login on now.dstv.com but when I start a stream it says i'm in an unsupported country.
Same with the addon but when I put a SAIX ip like 196.25.1.1 in die x-forwarded-for I can stream no problems and even in 720p without buffering

can you connect to your VPN,
then tell me the two IP addresses you get for

ping connect.dstv.com
ping ssl.dstv.com

also advise what you get when not connected to VPN

and can you double check it does work when UK vpn activated.
Clear cookies / dns cache etc.

Yeah those dns names are load balanced, so you get a random ip when you ping.
I did a nslookup for you instead:

The nordvpn uses their dns server of 103.86.96.100 while conencted to the vpn

C:\Users>nslookup
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 103.86.96.100

epg data is generated in Aussie, so I think we will need to push an update so the Dstv add-on generates its own data.

My DSTV is working Perfect, besides the IPTV Merge not pushing all the data
SA

Weird. Internet issues? Maybe try making your phone a hotspot and try using its internet. Or take it back to where it was before you moved it?
So I moved the boxes back and it worked. Seems like the ISP ist the problem. Thanks for your assistance.

hope it gets fixed.

For now, I've just updated DSTV.
It now generates the 7 Day EPG itself (so takes quite a bit longer)

The Channels don't show any info on my side now ....
How do I force a refresh to update the guide?
Closing and opening doesn't populate the info either

EDIT: Did a force stop on Kodi ... when I opened again, it was working
