[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

It's up to its crap again. It's only dstv add on loaded, no iptv merge as I'm not still comfortable with iptv merge. The IP issue is back again, it's at default and I even put the Live TV as a favourite as to avoid any unnecessary fiddling. Its 1 of those Mqx or something of that sort devices. WiFe is costing me a bunch of trips to fix this at home as she is not savvy lol.
No need to travel. I administer boxes of clients with teamviewer for android.

Then this 1 came also.
OMGosh
Here I'm out the woods lol
That error indicates DNS issues (it can't convert ssl.dstv.com to an ip) OR when the internet connection is down totally at the time it was trying to resolve the address.

Always worked
With IT you need to use process of elimination. If the addon works on a desktop / laptop / another android device for instance it is your mxq box that is the problem. If not, it could be your router / network setup that is dodgy

I didn't close study it, but thanks, I done just that. Suspicion was on the box then turned to the ISP, thought on leasing of dhcp server was too short etc. Then it all came to me, Vodacoms Fiber Network has a outage.
Haha Haha.
Thanks but you guys helped.

A y reason why the add on dont ask each time for quality as before, I did put it to Ask is the setting gs, comes up once and not again. Have to go back out of the platform to get to quality again.

No if it it set to 'ask' it will always ask.... you have a very unique box looking at the things you experience :sneaky:

Eish bro, even on my Phone it does the same, and it is on "ASK", tried on Wifes phone, same ol.
Give it a try and get back to me. Switch between 3 channels

Works fine. I use a coreelec, android and windows device with kodi daily with the addon and no hassles. Currently watching cnn, went out and back in and it asks me for selection no hassles :whistling:

I see it requires you to stop then it will "Ask". Didnt have that.
Shot man.

Suddenly no items in the series list, movies, sport and kids list. Only live tv working.

So Something Weird. I am using version 0.9.0 still and error is different. "Error performing Irdeto Create Session. Error message is: HTTP 502 Bad Gateway" if that might help.

I only realized the different error trying out 0.9.2

Sorry see someone already posted pic of error above.

Hey Did you manage to get a fix for this? Both of my boxes giving me this error message on Kodi 18.7

Yeah that's the latest version. Mine working fine though. Was yours working before?
It worked when I added the add on. Plugged out my box and took it to the other room, it stopped working and gave me error 502. I deletedthe add-on on both boxes and added it again. Logged out and back in, didn't work.

Weird. Internet issues? Maybe try making your phone a hotspot and try using its internet. Or take it back to where it was before you moved it?
