[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

I have downloaded Test Streams.

I'm trying to download the widevine as indicated in earlier posts, I want to belief this is the reason why my dstv doesn't want to play any videos, I have clicked on InputStream Adaptive - Dash with Widevine, there is no response, when I select HL5 or Dash alone it works and plays the video? Why?

Dstv now still does the same, I can log in and view the shows, but when I want to play something, it simply doesn't play any video, it does the same as if I click on Dash with Widevine. It seems as if it want to play, but then nothing happens.

Install drm info and make sure your box support L3 widevine at least.

Hi, my apologies, I have assumed mine is the lower widevine, I guess my question would be how can I possible get my widevine upgraded to one that works? I have checked the drm and it's not giving me the widevine number? Please see attached.

That Roik chinese special box is not widevine certified so will not work. Clearkey not the same as widevine

I'm at least pleased YouTube and Netflix work perfectly fine.

It would of been great if I could of got it widevine or google play certified.
 
Need some advice on this. It's doing it on two of my boxes at home.

Hi Guys,

Refresh token error seems to be back.

I've noticed that the add on has been updated on slyguy respiratory however problem is back.

Need advise please.
 
On what platform is this Android?

I'm on coreelec on my TV box and no such issues.

Whenever I get this message, 90% of the time I have found it to be a dstv server side problem and resolve itself without even logging in and out.
Currently working for me on 3 platforms: windows, coreelec and android.
 
I dont know if I'm off topic. I just registered mine and the wife's phones with the Addon. Am I missing something as to amount of devices can be registered. I clearly know its 4 on the official dstv app. How many on the Kodi Addon?. I also font see it as a device on my account as registered. Will this not conflict as in using 1 profile only. My Gosh, this baffles me.

Kodi does not count as a device

So j can run all 3 my Android Boxes, me and wife phones and 2 kids?
Is that right? Will it not pick up that so many devices runs off a profile and probably start crashing or some sort.
I hate trouble,but then again, it's my account that's being paid.

No its like logging into the dstv now website, it does not count or show as a device.
