[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

I am using an Android TV Box H96 mini, Kodi v18.2. There is no error message, if I click on an episode to open nothing happens
The H96 Mini does not need to be Google certified, and the addon provides the Widevine level needed?

Does any android box work with the addon?
Can't remember the requirements.

You don't need google certification but box needs to have widewine level 3 support at least (which his has cause live tv works)

I have taken over all of Matt's add-ons as he is "retiring".

I now have a repo which includes the dstv & showmax add-ons.
The repo can be installed from here:

http://k.slyguy.xyz/

Once that is installed, dstv & showmax should update.
Once they update, you no longer need the Matt Huisman repo or common module installed.
Hi Jeremy, I have installed the Showmax add-on from this repo. My account has the sports menu but on Kodi I cannot find that menu. How do I activate it?

If you don't have sports channels in your channel list you either have a subscription without sport or your smart card is not linked properly.
I have a sports subscription on Showmax and on my phone app i'm able to access the sports menu. I don't have a smart card for this, I just use the app and computer browser.

The sports menu you talk about is for showmax addon, not dstv addon. As Jeremy has replied, the sports menu is not implemented on the showmax addon yet.

1. Someone posted in the dstv thread instead of the showmax thread.

2. Someone else did not read the question, but gave an answer to a different (unasked) question

Hey Matt there is a problem with IPTV merge.. It doesn’t want to.. upon restarting the device it only gives channel numbers up until 108. I can see all the channels but when I select them kodi reboots? Any possible solution?

You tried updating Kodi
Don't have any issues my side

Lol fixed upon rolling back on IPTV manager on my PI3.. It works fine.. My PI4 is happy regardsless.. Anyways fixed, thanks

IPTV Manager isn't a SlyGuy add-on. IPTV Merge is...
You mention both so not sure which you mean.

Also, has anyone had issues of logouts since the last update?
Add-on is staying logged in more reliably now?

Not 100% sure but I don't think I have had to login since before the beginning of the year.

maybe to soon to tell as it's only been a week, but so far so good. I didn't have many logouts before the update tho, just once in a while, but then it usually happens to everyone like when something changes on DSTV side ;)
