Sorry last question.. How do you get the original channel numbers there. Mine shows 1 for mnet and 81 for SS rugby for example.
In settings go to pvr & live TV and select use channel numbers from backend

Holy crap, now that skin / interface looks freaking phenomenal. Is it difficult to configure / setup? I'm a bit of a Kodi noob when it comes to configuring it, hence the question

AFAIK: Just go to system settings ... then interface .... skin ... click on "get more" ... look for "Aeon Nox:SiLVO" ... install and say yes to use.
I like it but I'm not 100% converted. I don't like the TV guide (I found the default skin's layout much nicer on the eyes). I also wish that the TV OSD was replicated to the video OSD, so you could see resolution and encoding etc. on the info screen.
Can't comment - never used it.

Awesome stuff, thanks a lot. That EPG guide, does it also come with the skin or is it another additional addon?
EPG is independent from the skin. The skin just makes it look different. If you follow the guide from this thread on how to set things up it should be populated/usable.

One last question, how does one display the EPG? Is there by default when one access the "Live TV" option? I installed IPTV merge, had a look at the options, I have a DSTV playlist etc, but been looking for the EPG while watching live tv, but can't seem to find it

^ Just go into the config of the DSTV addon and run the "Setup IPTV Merge" ... it will do everything automatically.
Then when you go into "Live TV" shortcut, it should be there by default.

Hmmm, I did the setup IPTV Merge part though, but not getting those additional buttons you have there in the second screenshot for some strange reason. Unless I messed something up, let me rather remove IPTV merge and retry it.

The EPG still down. Came back intermittently and the next day gone again. (It merged twice a day as per config but not anymore) I ‘manual merged’ it a few times but no luck.. Updated PVR Client in the process.. Anyone else having luck? Or still API issue?
