4 months? Make sure you uninstalled matt's repo and installed slyguy's repo. Then try login on the website to make sure your credentials are correct and uninstall and re-install the addon (and say yes when asked to clear all settings of the add-on)Evening all,
Im running LibreElec Leia 18.6, Dstv now 11.9, reinstalled Widevine and used an older version.
I keep getting "failed to parse access token"
Have been for about 4 months now.
Below is the log output:
ERROR: GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.video.dstv.now/?_=login
ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.video.dstv.now/?_=login) failed
Ive checked login details over 200 times and even entered them with a USB keyboard attached.
Please could someone assist me, I would be most grateful.

weird...I'm using it on 3 platforms (coreelec, android and windows) without a problemRemoving Matt's repo I did first. Only using Slyguys to get 11.9. Checked credentials against DStv website. Even manually deleted userdata folder after removing addon and restarting. No joy. Not sure what it could be.

That "log" of yours is not enough. Turn on debug logging (ctrl-shift-d) and make the error occur again and paste your log to a pastebin then @js9241698 or someone can maybe assist
Ok so maybe try this:Done.
![]()
DStv Now Error - Pastebin.com
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.pastebin.com
Ok so maybe try this:
1. delete /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.dstv.now/settings.xml (this is where the plugin stores your login data and its settings)
2. Open the addon again and login with correct email but wrong pass (this should give 'failed to login' error)
3. Try again with correct password and see if it results in 'failed to parse token' again?
What you mean? According to you you have verified your credentials against the website and was getting 'parse token error', now you saying the opposite?Interesting, even with the correct credentials it didnt produce the parse token error.
Is your smart card properly linked on https://connect.dstv.com, i.e. can you open a stream of a channel on the actual website would mean it is linked properly.
I logged out of DSTV Now app on Kodi and with correct credentials, i get Parse error and advised to logout and try again. still fails. uninstalled addon and redone it with repo. still fails
