Another thing, will this add-on, work on OSMC , as well, or is it Kodi specific?

Hmm, okay, so they have a vanilla kodi or almost vanilla kodi, that does not break any add-ons. Basically what I am asking.

Well basically same as installing Kodi on a particular linux distribution, has all functionality of Kodi and does not break anything.

As said before, when it happens, use the new function in dstv now-->settings-->live tv & epg-->setup iptv merge

Don't have a xbox one but basically you need kodi 18 or higher - a quick google revealed these instructions if you don't have kodi 18 installed.

it requires Widevine kodi support.

As per here:

Xbox One does not support Widevine playback in Kodi - so no - won't work sorry.

Can finally say the TV guide is now also working for me, could never figure out why, but the setup button in the dstv-now addon fixed it all up. Really impressed and happy user now

You should remove that ip from settings, only needed when you are outside SA or using an overseas vpn server (this usually causes buffering though). In that case use a random SA ip like 196.25.1.1

If only I had known this a long time ago!! Thanks, my DSTV add-on is at last working again!

The DSTV addon works fine on my FireTv Stick. Going to take awhile to get my head around Kodi. Structure of Kodi does not make much sense to me at this stage. Tho those who developed it, probably have valid reasons, for the way it is that I as yet do not have much appreciation for, at this stage. But yeah, so it goes, will get there.

I just tried and worked.
You need the + in front of the number.

Just pushed 0.12.7 that will add the + if skipped.
It will also add the 27 if no + and no 27.

Matt fixed his DStv scraper, so just pushed 0.12.8 of the add-on that now uses that file again.
Meaning a lot quicker EPG merges and 7 days worth

Matts scraper is in Australia
DStv for some reason blocks Australia now...

So he just updated his scraper to first connect to a VPN in a non-blocked area.
Then scrape.
