[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

Hi is anyone also getting a problem with playing streams, it comes up to the point where you select the quality of the stream you want to play, and when you select it takes you back to the same screen of the stream you want to watch.

Good day. Had dstv now running through kodi working perfectly until it kicked me out and says that I need to go to the dstv now website and log on with a code that gets generated. I am using someones login details (I don't know whos it is)that was given to me so I don't want to go via the dstv now website and risk kicking out the original owners or being picked up as a device. Any help on how to resolve this? Running on an android device. Thanks

So the Kodi add-on doesn't count as a device, and does not count as one of the 2 simultaneous streams being permitted on DstvNow?

So one can stream more than 2 simultaneous streams at a time using the add-on?

A scenario where sellers preload this with anonymous login details or something similar?

I think so yes it used to work. I had my 2 tv boxes at home and my android device all connected using the same login details and there weren't any problems until the 12th of April. Also I'm not sure if this is how sellers did this as well as I only used it for personal use.

Please can someone explain to me how to link the tv box now to dstv app that is working through Kodi? It says I must go to the website with a code, but then you need to exit Kodi to go to the website and when you open Kodi again and want to login, it generates a new code

So use your smartphone or laptop or computer.

This is what I was talking about in my previous post. Any help or link with a step by step process to get it to work again? Thank you

You need to use a 2nd device

My biggest problem with your posts is that you're using someone's details WITHOUT their knowledge .... That is NOT what this addon was created for and if this is the direction you're taking it, you're going to fnck it up for all of us. You'll get away with it, if you follow the steps, but :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

luckily there's a bug ever so often that gets fixed with an update but then sometimes also forces you to log out and back in again .....

I think a seller will get pissed if 1000's of people phone them every few weeks

I understand your frustration, hence why I only do it for personal use and people has already offered me money to do it for them and I refused. I can get details from someone I know that isn't a problem. But the details was just given to me by a friend(the person who gave the details to me knows the owner of the account details)with the tutorial on how to setup using kodi with those details and I did it and it worked
