Don't, i moved 2 years ago for work, and this place is subpar compared to jhb, seriously everyone raves about cpt, but in my experience it's a crap place.

Lmao!! nope, JHB drivers are definitly more skilled drivers than captonians. The things i see in CPT are just rediculous. I switched daily driving from car to bike as i could not take the idiots anymore, now i just go around/split lanes.

My office is in Century City, so not in town but I'll be working remote mostly. Hoping I won't have to travel to town often. I've been looking around Durbanville in Tyger waterfront and Vredekloof.

Edgemead also a solid option then.

And why on earth own a car not to drive it? Send your stuff with a moving company and roadtrip down.

Durbanville is similar to Pretoria just a lot closer to the ocean. If you like the warmer ocean then Glencairn is quaint. If Moola is no issue then West Beach/Dolphin Beach is not too schabby. If you want a tough commute then stay in Table View and edge closer to Dunoon for even more eventful days. As for Milnerton, will leave this here:
