Removing labels from glass containers

Sometimes, when you leave the bottle in hot water, the label literally just slips off.

Any tips for the more stubborn labels that clings, or leaves behind glue or even pieces of paper ?

lol this is a little known tip.... Margarine!!!

Spread a bit on where the glue is and leave for 5 minutes and wipe off

Find a virgin to do it for you.

(This usually only works with beer labels, though. No idea why.)
