Hi Guys,

I would like to get some suggestions for a new reliable no nonsense Fiber ISP.

Currently I am with Afrihost as my ISP on Vumatel Fiber (200/200), Downloads are OK but the streaming is K.A.K.

My Purpose:

Heavy Downloading - Absolutely
Steaming HD/4K - Absolutely (Tired Of Buffering/Loading)

Tired of spending just under 2K a month for just "Pure Internet Streaming Frustration"

Anyone with the same/similar issues who made the switch?

Are you using this via cable? Those speeds over wifi, especially on 2.4 on a built up area could be a killer of the speed.
I am not commenting on Afrihost - dont use them

I moved from Afrihost to WIRUlink and the experience is not even comparable. Whether we stream torrents or HTTP sources, the line runs max all the time any day. Competitive pricing as well @ R1375 for 200/200. I used my AH router and it just worked after Vumatel migrated me from AH to WIRU.

Yip all of my NVidia Shield TV's are running on an Ubiquiti 1Gbps wired network with rest of the house connected via the Ubiquiti Unifi AC Pro Wireless AP's.

So I don't think the issue is with the network setup.
