Reputable MCITP online course?

A buddy of mine is looking for a worthwhile Microsoft certified online MCITP course in Sandton. Do you guys have experience in this regard? (forum search brings up nothing past the second page)

He wants to do the following:
MCITP
CCNA
Some 'Linux' course

Awe, dis BT!!!!

Self study all the way. Throw in some CBT Nuggets, and he will be sorted. There are plenty of people that have the DVD's for the courses, so maybe someone can help in that regard. I have sold mine a while back, so unfortunately I can't help out.

Hey man :)

Thanks for the info. I gave him a pc lab to play around with today and he has CBT Nuggets so he's like a kid in a candy store (his WDS setup still has nothing on my DRBL/Clonezilla ;))! But as far as employment is concerned, wouldn't companies prefer verifiable MCSE/MCITP diplomas or something? I am assuming there are plenty of fly-by-night providers of this sort of thing.
 
You cannot gain a CISCO cert without attending the CISCO course. But the VBT does indeed help.
 
I have CCNA without attending any course self study all the way. As someone said Self Study and CBT Nuggets and try find him the MCITP labs: 6418C, 6419A,6421A, 6425B.
 
For MCITP just get the exam prep kits from Microsoft press. Between experience and these I managed fine. Ideally you should have experience already (Microsoft recommend 2years before writing the exams) , I find those with certification but no experience are not the greatest contributing team members....

HUH?
I have done all my Cisco certifications Self Study all you need to do is to register with pearson vue and book your exams as you please.

For CCNA you needs to do your ICND1 and ICND2. Best CBT Nuggets of them all because Jeremy ROCKS :D You also can get packet tracer 5.3 on download and its all you really need. Then get yourself the official certification guides. You are golden.

Lol, I completed my CCNA cert, using CBT nuggets, labs and books that where downloaded, never attended a single course. I am now busy with my CCNP.

Half the guys that I have seen go through these training centres come out not knowing left from right.

Self study, using nuggets and exams from Examcollection.com, then book an exam at any Prometric Certified testing center, write the exam.
 
Trainsignal + CBT nuggets!! then book at a prometric center :)
 
I have achieved my MCITP through self study and experience.

I was lucky to start working without any cert and slowly did A+, N+ and there rest.

Look for CBT Nuggets, exam collection sites will also help in preparing you.
