I've got a RB2011 that I would like to replace with RB 750 router, but when i backup the 2011 that is working and restore to the rb750, i can not connect to the internet. Is there anything else that i need to do after the restore?

Depends on how the RB2011 was set up - you'll need to check the interfaces, and a few other things that I can't think of off the top of my head - PPPoE accounts, the physical ports that are connected etc.

Interface bindings will not be transferred, need to browse router and re specify interfaces

Eg firewall rulles , ip addresses etc

I would recommend exporting the config then editing and importing it to the new router.

The only problem is it won't export your username and password to manage the router.

This file can be edited in notepad.

command is:
export file=<name of the backup>
