Retrieve cell no. using only the physical sim?

what's good team, anyone know how to retrieve a number as original papers / packaging are lost and the sim is not yet RICA'ed? My mate never RICAd the sim and the packaging it came with got chucked... he still has the physical sim, but can't remember the number. Could 8ta rep inquire for me please?
 
Can you not call customer care and give them the sim nr? They should be able to sort you out.

hey bud thanks for that, I'll need to get hold of an 8ta user to call customer care from. Could a telkom land line work? would the call be charged... It's not Rica'd so can't send a please call :) thanks team.

A number is only assigned after the SIM is RICAed.
So if you have an un-RICAed SIM, then you have no number.
You will need to have the SIM RICAed.
