RIP Paul Walker

Sad, nice guy.
Ironic, but sad.

This just such a huge loss the movies. He was a legend for me. RIP and condolences to family and friends.

I wish people would be this concerned about stuff like this:

Michael Hastings died in a single-vehicle automobile crash in his Mercedes C250 Coupé at approximately 4:25 a.m. in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles on June 18, 2013.[48] A witness to the crash said the car seemed to be traveling at maximum speed and was creating sparks and flames before it fishtailed and crashed into a palm tree.[49][50] Video from a nearby security camera purportedly shows Hastings' vehicle speeding and bursting into flames after crashing.[51] Witnesses described the car's engine being ejected 50 to 60 yards from the scene.[50][52] Hastings' body was burned beyond recognition. The coroner identified the body by matching fingerprints with those the FBI had on file.[53][54] The Los Angeles Police Department said there were no signs of foul play.[55]
The coroner's report ruled the death of Hastings to be an accident.[56] An autopsy showed that the cause of death was massive blunt force trauma consistent with a high-speed crash.[56]
Hastings was eulogized in the media by figures such as Christopher Hayes,[57] Rachel Maddow,[58] his co-workers at BuzzFeed,[59] and others.[60]

Big fiery crash, except he was someone doing a lot of good in the world. Why are our priorities so skewed towards pretty faces?

I am very sad today. He was a great actor.

Condolences to the family and friends

Hastings became a vocal critic of the surveillance state during the investigation of reporters by the US Department of Justice in 2013, referring to the restrictions on the freedom of the press by the Obama administration as a "war" on journalism.

This is why. I doubt this was ever reported in SA newspapers. I mean just look at the article by Fox about his death, it's obvious the government wants to shove it off.

Forgot to add, sheeple don't really care unless a celebrity dies so yeah...

RIP. Normally when a celeb dies it just passes by but I am really sad to hear this. One actor I really enjoyed seeing. RIP dear sir.

So, Walker was not doing good in the world?

Seems he did quite a bit... https://www.roww.org/about_us.php

I am sure he was a great guy, he seems to have been well liked.

My post was not a slight at Walker, just an observation about what grabs the attention of the masses of humanity.

We tend to bemoan the state of our world, but very often (for the most part) ignore many of those who are fighting some pretty important battles for us.

Anyhow, I was just waffling.
