Is this isolated to the Vumatel guys? Or RocketNet in general?

we see the speeds are going downhill again to the extent that once again we are not getting what we are paying for
browsing has also slowed down dramatically and is very jerky some pages takes 5-10 seconds to load
mabe a bandwidth problem again it sure looks like it

Given that your results are significantly higher than ours, this seems to point to either Vumatel or the Cape Town area (or some combination thereof) being the bottleneck.

Are there perhaps any Rocketnet subscribers on Vumatel in Joburg or MFN in Cape Town that can perform these same tests in the evenings so that we can attempt to narrow down the root cause?

The bottom line is that we are paying Rocketnet every month for a service that we are not receiving, so they need to resolve it ASAP.

I think it's Vumatel to be honest. Been having issues with Vox trenched Vumatel for about 3 weeks.

Also in CPT

Been playing Quake Champions over weekends... Since about a 2 days ago the ping shot up to ~160ms for the local JHB server. My friend with Vox fibre on Vuma has no issues, lives 2 min drive away.

Anybody else having trouble?

Can you do a traceroute?

I was keen on using Rocketnet but I am now sceptical. It doesn't look good.

I am on Frogfoot though and not Vumatel.

We’ll be more then willing to provide you with a reference of a few clients who use the Frogfoot network. Please do send an E-mail to [email protected] and we will assist with providing all relative information

Hey

I just had my 100meg Rocketnet Trenched Vuma line activated on Friday. Happy to do some comparitive testing. I'm not wired yet so tests might not be 100% equal.

Hi there

I can assure you that we have one of the best networks in the industry.

The issues that electrofreeze is having seem to be isolated to his area and we are actively working to solve his particular problem.

Can you please test to this server in London
