Hi Surface,Well that sucks
The price adjustment is needed in order to maintain our level of service to you and to ensure that we are able to further grow our business in a climate with ever increasing operational costs. We also understand that the cost of data has decreased and for that reason we still won’t cap or throttle any of our services.

How naive of me to ever think fibre will become cheaper, especially if I stay on the lower tier speeds.
Took a chance with Rocketnet when they first launched in Cape Town, and they were the cheapest at the time.
I might jump ship to the cheapest now.
Afrihost seems to be covering these fees. What makes it even crapper is this activation fee of R1000 on Vumatel when you want to move ISPs - ridiculous.
It keeps one captive in a way.
Looking at similar prices offered, it is reasonable guess that all providers are colluding somehow. This will all come out one day. Mind the speed will get you 35 rands less. All ISP prices hover around the same so there is no point till some "honest" ISP comes along.I live in Brackenfell, Cape Town and have been with RocketNet since April 2018 when my Vumatel fibre was installed. My 20/2 line price will increase on 1 April from R739 to R825 per month. That's an increase of over 11% which is well above the level of inflation and totally unacceptable. I will probably change to Mind the Speed or can someone recommend another ISP?
