Rocketnet - feedback?

I currently can't login to the network, I don't know that is the normal outage (it happen constantly) or the revenge. I really found that this company is very disgusting and unreliable. If anyone really want to do business with this company, I only can say good luck.

I want to tell you I paid for the service, and I am forced by you to pay for the service for the next month also. If you cease my account as the revenge, I have to warn you that will be a consequence, I hope that you didn't do such childish behaviour, please reactivate it asap. Otherwise further action will be taken and that will not only be a complaint.

At first I thought you might be Afrikaans, and might not be that proficient in English. But now I am thinking you might just be some fnut foreigner feeling privileged.

Geen Afrikaanse ou kan so ñ groot boks wees, sonder om kwaadwillig en dom astrant terselfdertyd te wees nie.

As jy wel Afrikaans is, dan weet jy nou wat jy is.

You should pay more for internet as when you do for insurance when you are a higher risk.

cancel my service with immediate effect , I don't post anymore, deal? Mr CEO

Hi [mention]DreamKing [/mention]

You asked for your service to be cancelled with immediate effect, this was also relayed to us in your phone call to me which was recorded and followed up by an email confirming this with you.

I’m not re-instating your service, and we have released your line so that any other ISP can activate your service with immediate effect. Good luck with your new ISP and hope you have a lovely experience with them.

We unfortunately stand up for human rights and I won’t allow you to continue to abuse scream and shout at our staff the way you have gone on.

Your behavior has been absolutely terrible and I won’t condone it.

As you have chosen to take this battle into the public domain, I have chosen to respond in the public domain.

All the best of luck with everything.

ok fine, you never let me know, and beside that, you must refund me for this month for what I paid. Thank you.

You cannot be serious. You have shown on this thread just how childish you are and now you complaint about other people being childist. Hypocrite

You seem to become difficult when you feel that your needs are not being met. When kids don't get what they want, it's temper tantrum time. Well, guess what, you have proved yourself to be just that.

Final notice:

you have until 16:00 today(9th March 2020) to settle the case either to deposit my money to my account or to respond publicly when you will pay back my money, otherwise further actions will be taken.

thank you for your response.

PS: don't tell me that you suddenly cut off my service without notice and caused me disruption you expect you don't need to pay me back the service for what I paid. I think it is fair to pay back my money, right?.

@RocketNet-Rep See you have launched a proper web portal, looks great thanks!

I am still however having issues with increased latency to AWS Frankfurt instances, some hosts in Frankfurt will give me great pings like:

However when connecting to AWS servers in Frankfurt the pings are in the 170ms range (and was ~190ms over the weekend) which really isn't great. Many game servers run on AWS infrastructure and Europe is usually the only option us SAffers have.

Is there any way you can improve this? It's been messed up since you guys moved transit providers to Seacom last year August.

I have set up a small AWS EC2 instance in Frankfurt to test to:

Code:
Pinging ec2-3-123-153-230.eu-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com [3.123.153.230] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 3.123.153.230: bytes=32 time=171ms TTL=46

Reply from 3.123.153.230: bytes=32 time=171ms TTL=46

Ping statistics for 3.123.153.230:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 171ms, Maximum = 171ms, Average = 171ms

For comparison, here is a ping to the speedtest server I included above:

Code:
Pinging speedtest.fra1.de.leaseweb.net [178.162.215.67] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 178.162.215.67: bytes=32 time=157ms TTL=52

Well get our team to look into this.

Question: How can I prove I paid by debit order? (Note: bank statement can't, even the transaction has their name on it)

And that is funny they didn't phone me to say I didn't pay them for the past 2 years, only when ask for a refund, why?

We will not be refunding you, as you asked for immediate cancellation of your account, see above post.

Have a lovely day further, and may I kindly ask that you stop abusing our Staff the way you have, I do not and will not stand for people that abuse, scream and shout the way you do.

It is totally unacceptable in this modern day and age, you need to respect each other and have respect for human beings.

My above post refers. [mention]DreamKing [/mention] there are other users on this forum who actually would like to gain some positive traction from the forums. Please may I ask that you respect the community and if you have any issues. Kindly take it offline, we respect the community of MYBB and this pointless and continuous posting is getting nowhere. We honored your request to cancel immediately and went against our terms to release your line immediately so that another ISP may connect you.

You asked and we gave you what you want.
