Hi Leno,

Thank you for letting us know, please accept our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. I can confirm that we did put pressure on FF today to complete the order so can get your upgrade to 200/200 completed. However, this seems to now has caused another issue on the FF side. We will contact FF right now to find out what the issue is. Please can you check if the broadband and service LED's are green?

Thank you,

Hi Leno,

Tried to reach FF now, cannot reach their support. I will be in touch with them first thing 2morrow morning to get this resolved. Can confirm somehow with the upgrade something went wrong with the config of the ONT from FF side.

Apologies for this and thank you for the patience.

Warmest regards,

Line is back up thanks for escelating this with FF :)

There is a small issue with the upgrade but ill comment on the ticket
Hi Leno,

I can confirm that we are still working with FF regarding the matter with the upgrade.

I have escalated the matter with the upgrade issue to the highest with FF>

Should hopefully be resolved soon.

Thank you for the patience, really appreciated.

Warmest regards,

We at RocketNet understand that there is an increased number of people who are now wanting to work from home, or are already working from home, who want to take the needed precautions.

For this reason RocketNet, together with one of our Fibre Network Partners - Vumatel, have launched an initiative that allows all new subscribers, who place an order for Fibre Internet, to receive up to 2 months free internet. Offer valid for all new sign-ups between 18 March until 30 April 2020.

This is still an issue and worse now. Seeing ~192ms to these servers now.

This may be related to the increased bandwidth that EU is currently experiencing as the world has moved to a social isolation model and all networks, both international and local are very busy. This is especially true in Europe and America.
Netflix will even reduce their bandwidth by up to 25%. This will surely have an affect on all.

If you look at the attached image, you can see that RocketNet to Amazon (52.93.56.56) is around 8ms, then it gets carried by amazons network.

Once it leaves our network and enters amazons we have no control...

I am wondering if you do Business Fibre on Frogfoots Business network, not the GPON network

I have a client in PE who is using VOX and they are connected through FrogFoots business network

I am looking at a business line at home as the Frogfoot GPON node here (Summerstrand) goes down with load shedding, whilst the business network is a dedicated link to their main node (Newton Park I think) without any powered equipment in Summerstrand.

The other thing is I would have to use Frogfoot in some way as they have an exclusivity agreement with our building, and I would assume they would allow a business connection through.

Can you pop me a DM?

Amazon transit for all networks has been bad since the WACS break they went back to WACS for like a week but now seem to be routing via east coast. Only way to reduce it back to normal is not using amazon transit and having the ISP carry it - this was discovered on another ISP's thread, apparently Amazon don't care and all they care about is what is the cheapest option, they probably got a deal from like SEACOM or something
